Based on Stephen King’s first novel, CARRIE THE MUSICAL tells the story of a teenage misfit who is bullied by the popular crowd in school and at the mercy of her loving but cruelly over-protective mother at home. Things change, however, when Carrie discovers she has a special power, and prom night becomes “A Night We’ll Never Forget.” 

Set in the present in the small New England town of Chamberlain, Maine, Carrie: The Musical features a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic film), music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment), and lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford (Fame, Footloose).
